We believe that linking various disciplines (like history and literature) provides an opportunity for students to reach a deeper understaning of the material that they are studying.
As we write our curriculum we are constantly questioning what we know and seeking out the newest discoveries and most up to date information. It is our plan to update our curriculum every four years to include new research as it becomes available.
Whenever we have the opportunity we include more than one side of a debate so students have the opportunity to practice reasoning and critical thinking skills. Our history and literature curriculm is not western-centric.
What is an imprint? The short version is this, an imprint is a division of a publishing company. The longer explanation is that publishing houses will divide the types of books they publish into more specialized categories and assign them to an appropriate division so that consumers can easily find more titles like the ones they like.
